Changes in Life.

CHANGES IN LIFE- AN ODE TO YOU.

Our lives are truly composed of what we perceive around us. These experiences shape our personalities and in turn, create an impact on our day-to-day lives. No matter what, we don't accept changes in our lives because we often appreciate the idea of a monotonous routine. Thus it sometimes creates unnecessary situations that we don't accept.

Life's always changing, but sometimes we face a big or sudden change that's hard to deal with, such as moving home, having a baby starting to care for someone, or moving on from a relationship. Even a positive or expected change can be difficult to deal with or cause stress, which usually lasts for just a short time.

Personally sharing an example of a scenario that succinctly expresses the major change in my life. I've recently completed my Masters in Botany. After completing my PG, I had a single aim in life I will opt for a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) which would enhance my career in teaching and research.

I was filling out admission forms in the drizzly month of August. I was embarking on a new academic journey. Unexpectedly I had an opportunity to give an interview for the post of Assistant Prof. in my very own graduate college. I happily gave my interview which went horrendous and I was convinced that I ain't getting a call back. I was satisfied with things because my objective was to continue my academics. One evening I actually got an mail from the college that I'd been selected for the respective post and I was supposed to give a demonstration lecture. I was thrilled to share this news with everyone.

But what about my academic course- B.Ed??

Like my parents, I was reluctant to opt for both things. Job or Academics? Extremely difficult to manage both things.

Then some beautiful verses of a song reminded me of my potential-

I decided to opt for both things. Initially, this change was difficult to handle. I had to mentally, physically, and spiritually prepare myself to take up that responsibility. Gradually I took hold of things. While I was merely expecting to have good academics I also found a great boost in my career this change was formidable. Today as an assistant Prof. the changes in me are tremendously notable. This was one of the best decisions I took in my life.

The "change" should be positive. It should have an inspirational outcome. Sometimes change is necessary to explore our true potentialities in life. Sometimes these changes lead to splendid scenarios which always result in constructive aspects in life. To truly change our lives, we first need to change ourselves.

This blog is an ode to you. To be your true self and accept the defeats and obstacles which come your way. Never let your shine be stripped off from you.
